Drawing from the landscape and the figure is the foundation of my work as a painter over the past fifty years, it is a record of the dialogue between the inner life of the mind and the spirit and the exterior physical world of light, form and space, this has been my vocation.

In the 1980s and 1990s I taught drawing at Prahran art school and the VCA.
