This work combine the energies of two previous bodies of work: Lin-Lindt series at the VCA Grad Show Honour 2023 and A Prayer to Sweetness 2024 at the Mailbox Art Space. This work utilising accessible and mass-produced consumer sweets to question coloured labour and the division of labour. My process for these works was repetitive and slow, yet I took ownership of the whole process of their creation from mould making to their final presentation: a dignity and connection that is often taken away from craftspeople and labourers in the global supply chain.
