cbOne Gallery is a reincarnation of two established galleries—Eastgate and Chapman & Bailey—bringing together over 30 years of experience within a contemporary context. As part of the Chapman & Bailey art services hub, cbOne Gallery operates as a dynamic commercial gallery dedicated to exhibiting and representing artists with integrity and vision.
Established in 2022 following the relocation of Chapman & Bailey and Eastgate Jarman, the gallery continues a long-standing commitment to supporting artists and presenting engaging exhibitions. Our program focuses on contemporary practitioners we believe in, with a curated schedule of monthly exhibitions and public programs that foster meaningful connections with our diverse community of art lovers.
Our history includes exhibiting well known artists while also elevating emerging artists who are building strong careers. The gallery presents a wide range of media, including painting, works on paper, photography, sculpture, installation, fibre works, sound, video, and digital media.
We maintain a strong connection to Australian Aboriginal Arts and Crafts Centres, enabling us to source and present exceptional First Nations Australian art. Chapman & Bailey is a Dealer Member of Indigenous Art Code Ltd and a signatory to the Indigenous Art Code of Conduct, reflecting our commitment to ethical practice.
Located upstairs at 1C Marine Parade, Abbotsford, cbOne Gallery sits within a comprehensive art services environment. Visitors can also access our fine art materials store, framing and stretching consultations, delivery and installation services, custom furniture fabrication, Matte Image fine art photographic printing, and artist studios.
