Blossom Springs: A group exhibition of botanically inspired works celebrating the arrival of Spring
Blossom Springs: A group exhibition of botanically inspired works celebrating the arrival of Spring
Opening Saturday 3 October 3.30 – 5.30pm
Exhibition dates: 3 – 17 October 2026
Our exhibition for Spring 2026 starts with the gallery as a creative space.
On the Equinox, artist and life model Elsa Thorp held a drawing session in the gallery, inviting artists to respond to her as she posed amongst her botanic sculpture, the body mingling with plants. The installation remains on show accompanied with artworks celebrating Spring’s renewal of nature and the ways we envision it.
Featuring Elsa Thorp's black and white photographic works alongside luscious colours of plants, landscapes and creatures of seasonal bloom by local Naarm artists and First Nations artists from the Barkly Region NT, courtesy of Barkly Regional Arts and Arlpwe Arts & Culture.
Blossom Springs invites you to get amongst the flowers and the harvest for some Spring revelry.
Join the next drawing session on Thursday 15th October, bookings essential Life Drawing & Botanical Art | Melbourne
